International Bank Account Number — the standard account identifier required on Swiss QR-bills and e-invoices.

The IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is an internationally agreed system for identifying bank accounts. In Switzerland, IBANs are 21 characters long and begin with the country code CH.

Format: CH56 0483 5012 3456 7800 9

Swiss IBANs come in two types relevant to e-invoicing:
